A Cutting-Edge, Diverse Orchestra

Polyphony Orchestra are a cutting-edge, diverse orchestra run by cellist Laura Anstee whose experience includes everything from performing with major pop stars such as Beyoncé, Bjork, Adele, Paul Weller and Tom Odell to working with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Chineke! Orchestra.

Polyphony play live shows and also record for artists in the studio. Some of their recorded work includes Tom Odell’s very special album ‘ Black Friday’ and also the album ‘ Pretty on the Internet ‘ by The K’s who had a number one album in 2025.

Laura Anstee wrote the string arrangements for the K’s album ‘ Pretty on the Internet’ and also for the album ‘ Oochya!’ by Stereophonics. We are able to make bespoke arrangements upon request.

The Polyphony Orchestra has a long standing relationship with its conductor Laurie Blundell who is a multi talented composer, instrumentalist, professor of music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and also a record producer.
